Orders with standard shipping are usually fulfilled and shipped within 10-15 business days unless otherwise noted. Processing time for personalized/custom and pre-order pieces may take longer, and these details will be found on the product pages.

You will be charged at the time the order is placed. When your order ships, we will send a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, holiday season, or anything out of our control, the delivery process may take longer. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there may be a delay in shipping/delivery times.

WHY WAS I CHARGED TWICE?

If you see a double pending transaction on your account, you have not been charged twice. What you see is a double authorization which can sometimes happen if you click "confirm" multiple times at check out. Not to worry -- your bank will remove one of the authorizations within 24-72 hours and you will only be charged once.

First, please check your shipping confirmation email and tracking number to confirm the delivery time frame. If indeed the delivery time frame has passed and you still haven’t received your shipment, please contact us with your order number at info@8thAveJewelry.com

WHAT IS CZ?

Cubic Zirconium, or Cubic Zirconia as it’s also called, is a mineral often used in place of real diamonds. It’s made to look and feel like the real thing, is significantly cheaper, and can be molded into the famous diamond shapes such as emerald cut, princess cut, and asscher cut. One of the advantages of having a CZ stone is that cubic zirconium can be made into any color, unlike diamonds. Another great advantage is that cubic zirconium stones truly do look like the real thing.

CAN SILVER PLATED JEWELRY TARNISH?

Will silver-plated jewelry rust?

Protecting your silver-plated jewelry from tarnishing can be difficult, as the surface reacts with so many everyday materials. For example, continuous contact with water (chlorine), perfume, hair spray, and so much more, can accelerate the process and cause your silver to turn black.

To slow down the effects of tarnishing, follow these simple top tips:

• Clean your jewelry after wearing it. The oils from your skin will collect on the surface of the silver and cause oxidation.
• Use warm water to gently wash your jewelry on a regular basis, drying it off with a soft cloth.
• Regularly polish your silver, using a polishing cloth at the first sign of tarnishing.
• Do not wear your jewelry when coming into contact with substances that can cause tarnishing, such as while washing up, applying lotions/creams, cooking, in the pool, or shower/bath.
• Put on your jewelry after applying make-up and spraying your perfume.

 If your silver has already tarnished, you can clean it – but it requires a gentle yet thorough process.
